Yomogi

Yomogi® contains viable dry yeast from cultures of the defined strain Saccharomyces cerevisiae HANSEN CBS 5926 (in medical language use also referred to as Saccharomyces boulardii). It is used to alleviate symptoms of acute diarrheoa and as a supportive treatment for chronic acne.

Active ingredients

Each capsule contains 250mg lyophilisate = 221.25mg active substance dry yeast of Saccharomyces cerevisiae HANSEN CBS 5926 (in medical language use also referred to as Saccharomyces boulardii) corresponding to min. 1010  viable cells / g lyophilisate.

Directions

For children over the age of 2 and adult:
- For prevention of traveler's diarrhoea, 1 hard capsule 1 2 times daily starting 5 days before the departure
- For the treatment of diarrhoea, 1 hard capsule 1 2 times daily
- For the treatment of acne, 3 hard capsules daily
- For diarrhoea induced by tube feeding, 750 mg daily (content of 3 hard capsules) in 1.5 litres nutrient solution.

Please do not chew the hard capsules and take with a full glass of water before meals.
For children as well as at tube feeding, hard capsules can be opened up and contents stirred into food or liquid at room temperature.
In diarrhoea induced by tube feeding, only the contents of the hard capsules have to be added to the nutrient solution.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct heat or sunlight.
Store below 25 °C
