Wee Kiat graduated from the University of Strathclyde with a PhD in Pharmacology and was a senior research fellow studying stem cell biology and therapy at A*STAR, Singapore. He's a registered pharmacist in Malaysia. 

After spending most of his professional life as a lab researcher, Wee Kiat has many published articles and awards to his name. An animal lover and owner of three dogs, his passion is veterinary compounding, in particular transdermal medicines and compliance.
