Step 1:

Test your hormones to find out if you have any hormonal imbalance.

Saliva Hormone Tests
Saliva Hormone Testing is an accurate and simple way for the ordinary man or women to assess the current levels of steroid hormones (e.g. estradiol, progesterone, testosterone) - in the body.

How do I take a home hormone saliva test?
Hormones are highest in the morning so testing should be done first before ingesting any food or drink. This includes brushing teeth as well as rinsing the mouth. However, there are certain days when testing is optimal.

MEN can test any day of the month but samples should be collected in the morning from 7am to 11am.

WOMEN who do not have a menstrual cycle can test any day of the month.

WOMEN who are menstruating need to test between days 19 and 21 with day 1 being the first day of the previous menstrual cycle.

MEN & WOMEN on any hormones need to allow 12 - 24 hours after application or ingestion before taking the test. The use of these hormones needs to be noted on the requisition form (eg. thyroid, estrogen, cortico steroids, progesterone cream). Testing while on hormones will tell you if your regime is working.

Step 2:

Results of the hormone test will take from two to four weeks.
